With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Marie Darrigan in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 21, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Macavoy Lavers and Cora Lavers; her parents-in-law, Jeremiah (Jerry) and Rose Darrigan; and her siblings, Ellen Lavers, Leona Snow (Bernard), Selma Knott (Walter), Norbert Lavers (Laverne), Cyndi Murphy (Shawn) and Debbie VanWyck (Tim).
She is survived by: her son Shane (Tracey); her close friends, Mary and Anne; her husband Spencer; her daughters, Marie Bartlett (Glenn) and Nancy Rogalsky (Gord); her granddaughters, Patricia Rumbolt (Ryan), Renee Bartlett (Ali), Sarah Mitchell (Bilal), Katelyn Darrigan, Laura Bartlett (Carson) and Emily Mitchell (Walker); her great grandchildren, Ava, Jackson and Hamish; her siblings, Doreen Aucoin (late Gordon), Odilia Ryan (late Joseph), Zeta Dyke (Brian), Alfred Lavers (Sue), Pius Lavers (Nora), Ed Lavers (Phyllis), Adelor Lavers (Nita), Herb Lavers and Mac Lavers (Mildred); and her sisters-in-law, Maisie Warford (late Victor) and Ada O'Reilly (late John).
