With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita Mary Offrey (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Offrey; her parents, Joseph Scanlon and Mary-Ann Scanlon; her siblings, Jerry, John, Honora (John), Susan (Robert) and Florence (Dick); her sister-in-law Marion; her grandchildren, David Myres, Joshua Offrey and Janesta; and her son-in-law Clifford.
She is survived by: her children, Joe (Pearl), Jim (Authorine), Sue (Rick), Janet (Hank) and Cennith (Kevin); her son-in-law Monty; her brother Joe Scanlon (Fran); and her sister-in-law Effie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many, many friends.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Rita's memory to the Roman Catholic Church in Port aux Choix.
