He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Batten and May Batten; and his wife Marina House. He is survived by: his girlfriend Verna; his children, Robert Batten (Nancy) and Tammy Park (Jody); his grandchildren, Caitlin (Caleb), Christopher (Alissa), Madison (Donovan) and Nathan; his sisters, Joyce Fitzgerald, Jean McGinn and Gloria Robertson (Gerald); his siblings-in-law, Stella Caines, Gloria Blanchard, Norm Parsons (Bride) and Cordell Parsons (Penny); and his close friend Lenny Green. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
