We announce the death of Rosalind Theresa McCarthy (Corner Brook, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 13, 2026, at the age of 69. Rosalind will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walsh and Rosaleen Walsh (Byrne); and her sisters, Joanne Brake and Maxine Tapp. She is survived by: her husband Brent McCarthy; her children, Eliot (Terri), Matthew (Marian) and Samantha (Josh); and her siblings, Brian, Jimmy (Sandra), Paul, Sean, Wayne, Tony, Michelle and Trudy. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
