It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Rowena Wickens of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away at the age of 72, on May 30, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella House (Tucker) and Leslie House; her siblings, Albert House, Laura Biggin (House) and Eliza Bragg (House); her siblings-in-law, Gordon Bragg and Neila Tucker; and her pet Lucky.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Wickens; her children, Dana Miller (Shawn), Philip Newhook, Orven Newhook (Moira), Chastity Keats (Joshua) and Avery Wickens (Amanda); her grandchildren, Trinity Miller, Ann Marie Newhook, Laurel Wickens, Townes Wickens, Fox Keats and Stella Keats; her brothers, Milton House and Elwood Tucker; her sister-in-law Maxine House (Brake); and her nephew Roger Gillam. She is also survived by many loving friends, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5).
Flowers are graciously accepted, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either the Janeway or the S.P.C.A.
