He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary (Sheppard) and Eugene Skeffington. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his grandchildren, Ashley (Leroy), Leslie, Evan, Liam and Gavin (Jessica); and his sisters, Marguerite (Gordon), Diana (Floyd), Lois (Larry), Irene (Grenfell), Linda (Jim) and Eunice (Grant). He is also survived by his extended family, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fillatre Funeral Home & Chapel - St. Marks Ave (4 St Marks Ave, Corner Brook, NL A2H6N1). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer society or to the Hemophilia Foundation. Donations in lieu of flowers.
