He was predeceased by: his friends, Howard, Debbie, Denny Sheppard and Pat; his parents, Albert Reid and Sarah Maude Reid; his siblings, Vera Rowe (Mark), Mary Palmer (Nelson), Clifford Reid (Violet) and Ernest Reid (Mabel); his in-laws, Fraser and Nellie Jerrett; and his siblings-in-law, Danny Jerrett (Joyce), Raymond Jerrett and Dallas Pitcher.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy of Heart's Delight; his children, Lori (Dale) and Jason (Amy); his grandchildren, Mya and Nate; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Jerrett and Rex Pitcher.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Musicounts Canada, a charity organization that is involved with educating and transforming young lives through music.
