He was predeceased by: his father William Cole; his mother-in-law Joan Fudge; his uncle Bud Pollett; his aunt Ruby Reid (Gus); and his cousin Todd Reid.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Cole; his children, Evan (Brittany) and Victoria; his mother Fern; his brother Dale; his father-in-law Dexter Fudge; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Meaney (John), Karen Lipton (Dwayne) and Connie Fudge (Peggy); and his pet Lacey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and many, many friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Country Haven Funeral Home (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Country Haven Chapel (167 Country Rd, Corner Brook, NL A2H4M5).
