He was predeceased by: his significant other Bernetta; his parents, Frederick and Margaret; his parents-in-law, William and Alice Cole; and his siblings, Melvin and Susie Knox (William).

He is survived by: his children, Eileen (Monty), Robert (Marie) and Sharon (Howard); his grandchildren, Melissa (Peter), Michael (Erika), Thomas (Jennifer), Justin (Melanie) and Amy; his great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Ellis and Lyla; his siblings, Dea Collins and Reginald (Emmie); and his siblings-in-law, Eileen Penney (Wilson) and Roy Cole (Bonnie).

Due to Covid 19 health restrictions there will only be a private family service.
