She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Miller; her mother Jane Hodder; and her stepfather Robert Hodder. She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda O'Reilly (Michael) and Lori Scott (Craig); her grandchildren, Erin (Matthew), Megan (Stephane), Kate (Michel), Colleen (Joseph), Tyler (Tanya), Kristen (Stephen) and Leanne (Ian); her great grandchildren, Riley, Jacob, Liam, Elijah, Noah, Evelyn, Peyton, Addison and Evans; and her close friends, Marilyn Bennett and Belle Power. She is also survived by extended family, other friends, and past coworkers.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Verna's memory can be made to the local S.P.C.A or the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
