He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Compton. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Compton (Ron), Lisa Burchett (Rodney), Cory Steffler and Allan Power (Jean); and his siblings, Gertie Compton (Bart), Freeman Compton (Elizabeth), Murdock Compton, Melina Pollard, Joy Jenkins (Jim), Juanita Compton and Melvin Compton (Cenith). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
