He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Philpott and Annie Philpott; his parents-in-law, Harold and Eunice Jesso; his siblings, Alonzo, Calvin Philpott, Shirley Fancey and Beverly Rideout; his brother-in-law Overton Rideout; and his close friend Graham Flight.

He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Lorie (Jason) and Andy (Judy); his grandchildren, Faith (Dylan), Bianca, Allie, Callie Ann, Valerie, Carter, Ellie Mae and Isabella; his siblings, Kathleen Rideout, Wavey Watkins (Ted), Carl (Linda), Tony (Dianne), Dennis (Marie) and Don (Diane); his siblings-in-law, Arthur Fancy, Ricky Jesso (Amy), Andy Jesso, Terrance Jesso, Harry Jesso (Gina), Eric Jesso, Vivian Philpott, Dianne Jesso and Shannon Jesso (Rex); his nephew Richard; his nieces, Rene and Kayla Jesso; and his grandson Robin. He is also survived by his dad, brothers and friends.
