The passing of Woodrow Philpott (Cottlesville, Newfoundland) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 12, 2025 at the age of 91. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Pauline Philpott; his parents, James Philpott and Blossom Philpott; his son Donald; his siblings, Ralph (Annie), Lloyd (Pauline), Ron (Margorie), Frank (Hellen), Harry (Dorothy), Geraldine (Gordon), Ruth (Simon) and Marie (Mike); and his brother-in-law Gilbert.
He is survived by: his children, Christine (Fred), Marie (Ted), Grant (Rosena), Marilyn (Kevin), Brenda (Craig), Jim (Heather) and Mike (Leona); and his sister Mae. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren; and his 25 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Salem Pentecostal Church. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, any monetary donations will be donated in Woodrow's honor to the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
