He was predeceased by : his parents, James Sinnicks and Lydia Sinnicks-Sheppard; his stepfather Tom Sheppard Jr.; his father-in-law Basil Payne; his sister Stella Sinnicks; and his sister-in-law Shelia Blanchard.

He is survived by : his wife Melina; his son Ashley (Lisa); his grandchildren, Bailey Payne, Carley Payne and Riley Payne; his mother-in-law Maxine Payne; his siblings, Clyde (Harriet), Norris (Charmaine), Ruby (Butch) and Muriel; his siblings-in-law, Garry, Dwight (Elizabeth) and Delia (Scott); and his granddaughters, Michelle Kaboni and Miranda House. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
