He is survived by: his wife Elaine Payne (Brown); his children, Cynthia Samms (David), Lorna Thompson (Bain), Byron Payne (Brenda) and Marlene Aravena (Gus); his sister Sadie Humber; his siblings-in-law, Annie Payne, Barbara Brown, Gerald Thistle, Eric (Nellie), Marvin (Margaret), Bob (Innis) and Paul Brown (Noreen); his grandchildren, Jordan Payne (Nicole), Brandon Samms (Catilyn), Lynden Thompson (Lucia), Bailey Payne (Crystal), Kayla Samms (Jonathan), Alicia Thompson (Jordan), Breanna Payne (Lucas), Felicity Arnold (Trent), Joshua Payne, Brayden Payne, Nicholas Aravena and Marco Aravena; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Samms and Jaxon Payne.
