She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Cox; and her grandparents, Philip, Mary Payne, George and Margaret Cox.

She is survived by: her father Luke Cox Sr.; her close friend Rudy Cox; her children, Luka Cox and Derek Cox (Alora); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ariana, Braylon and Colton; her siblings, Derek Cox (Jackie), Colin Robinson (Val), Vincent Cox, Barbara Cox, Luke Cox Jr. (Lori), Katie Cox (Sheldon), Clem Cox (Linda) and Ramona Payne (Lewis); her godchildren, Carrie and Cameron; and her pet Comet. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

As expressions of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Trudy Cox may be made to a charity of one's choice.
