She was predeceased by: her parents, Nellie Borzush and Steve Borzush; and her husband Victor Robitaille. She is survived by: her sister Sandra Borzush; her nephew Steven Sladkowski; her stepchildren, Jessica Hobden and Matthew Robitaille; and her close friends, Glenna Staufer, Sam, Mary Hodder, Bill and Myrtle Kelly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations be made to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Foundation with gratitude for the staff who made Karen's final days so comfortable.
