Shawn Brushett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, Shawn Brushett of Creston, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kelly; his children, Jo Anne Barker (Travis) and Kevin Brushett (Chelsea) of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; his grandchildren, Brooke, Ty, Jaycee and Blake; his parents, Ben Brushett and Georgina Brushett of Creston South; his brother Wayne Brushett of St. John's; his niece Jaycee Dunn of St. John's; his close friend Hank; and his parents-in-law, Wesley and Sylvia Ahrens.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Peninsula Funeral Home (4 Markland Rd, Creston, NL A0E1K0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary United Church (25 Markland Rd, Creston, NL A0E1K0).
In Shawn's memory, in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary United Church, Creston South.
