He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Madeline; children: Gloria (John), Tim (Tanya), Linda (Darren), Melanie (Dwayne) and Trevor (Rebecca); grandchildren: Erica (Nick), Parker (Belle), Ethan and Mason; great-granddaughter: Ruby; sister: Mary Hayse (Ren); sisters-in-law: Cecilia Murphy, Daphne Banfield (Kevin) and Helen Reid (Hughie); brother-in-law: Edward Pardy; parents: Albert and Susanna Murphy; brothers: Pius (Mary Ann), Ray (Kitty), Charlie (Ella), John and Kevin; sisters: Marion (Bern), Hilda (Leonard), Mercedes and Magdalen; parents-in-law: Ambrose and Bella Synard; brothers-in-law: Pius and Cyril; nieces and nephews: Evelyn, Kelly, Melvin, Lorne, Terry and Wayne; other: Blair, Kathy and Katie; and many nieces, nephews, members of the Synard and Murphy families, lifelong friends in Parker's Cove and Masonic Park, and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery.
