He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Kane and Elizabeth Kane; and his siblings, Doreen Kane and Gordon Kane. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Alexander (Jill) and Pop; his grandsons, Matthew and Michael; his siblings, Robert (Joanne), David, Kevin (Elizabeth), Janet (Brian Collins) and Pauline (Robert Pomeroy); his siblings-in-law, Gordon and Marilyn Ford; and his nephews, Corey and Peter Ford.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Broughton's Funeral Home (17 Station Rd, Brigus, NL A0A 1K0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cupids United Church (368 Seaforest Dr, Cupids, NL A0A2B0). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at the Cupids United Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyd's memory may be made to the Cupids Legacy Family History Center or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
