Margaret Stokes Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 27, 2023, at the age of 86, Margaret Stokes of Deadmans Bay, Newfoundland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Stokes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Abbott and Florence Abbott; her husband Joseph Stokes; her siblings, Ronnie Abbott, Gerald Abbott and Doris Whiteway; and her grandson Jeffrey Goodyear.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita (Sam Chaulk), Glenys Stokes (Darrin Starks), Judy (Paul Kean), Bernice (Ford Gray), Marlene (Sean Heaney), Jo-ann (Curtis Goodyear) and David Stokes (Darrell); and her sister Joan Savard. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren, a large circle of other relatives and many many friends.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Margaret's memory may be made to The Stokes Family and a decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
