It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilfred Stokes of Deadmans Bay, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Stokes; his parents, Elizabeth Stokes and Herbert Stokes; his siblings, Clyde Stokes and Tryphena Melindy; and his grandson Paul Michael Stokes.

He is survived by: his children, Karen Freeman, Paul Stokes (Karen) and Ivan Stokes (Brenda); his grandchildren, Michael Freeman, Kimberly Freeman, Keith Stokes, Shane Stokes and Michelle Stokes; his great grandchildren, Riley, Aurora, Thomas and Dakota; and his siblings, Jesse Stokes, Gordon Stokes (Victoria) and Olive Stokes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to The Diabetes Association.
