She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Madore and Catherine Madore; her husband Pius Alexander; her daughter Lorraine Rubia; and her granddaughters, Darlene Rubia and Nevada Swyers.
She is survived by: her children, Patsy Rubia, Dianne Swyers, Rona McNeil (David), Ronnie Alexander (Rose) and Pius Jr. Alexander; and her grandchildren, Stanley Rubia (Elsie), Denise Beck (Frank), Alvina Wilton (John), Todd Rubia (Tina), Lorne Rubia (Lori), Brian Rubia, Darlene Swyers, April Swyers, Jason Rubia (Annetta), Jocelyn Rubia (Cory), Justin Rubia (Chantel), Darren Bennett (Helen), Katlyn and Shelly Evans (Jason). She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
