He is survived by: his wife Deborah Reid; his sons, Jason and Jamie (Sarah); his grandchildren, Jessica (Donovan), Alicia and Carson; his siblings, Melvin (Peggy), Ford (Donna), Doyle (Irene), Guy (Nancy), Phyllis (Wayne), Doreen (Wilson), Eugene (Debra), Edna (David) and Dean (Anne); his in-laws, Gerald (Beverley), Gordon (Cindy), Janesta (Stewart), Calvin (Wanda) and Kevin; his sisters, Linda Penny and Daphne Fillier; and his brothers-in-law, Clarence Penny and Oliver Fillier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many neighbors & friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army Church (20 Church St, Deer Lake, NL A8A1E1).
