He was predeceased by : his brother Robert "Bob" Curtis; and his brothers-in-law, Gerald "Brud" Gordon, Winston "Wince" Vatcher, Lyndon "Lyn" Young and Roxy.

He is survived by : his children, Tanya, Gary and John (Natalie); his close friend Laura Rubia; his grandchildren, Rylan, Kaleb, Cohen, Zephlyn, Kehlan, Brooklynn, Brea and Amber; his siblings, John (Helen), Jean (Lawrence), Dennis, William (Myra), Francis (Lorna), Michael (Rhoda), Linda, Clifford, Sean and Brian; his sister-in-law Pheobe; his nieces and nephews, Edward, Nicole, Dion, Liana, Suzanne, Michelle, Brenda, Connie, Stephen, Melissa, Peter, Chad, Corey, Rachel, Jenna, Jason, Nikki and Liam; and his uncle Richard (Sybil).
