He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Bennett and Robert Bennett; and his siblings, Gordon, Stella, Donald, Cornelius, Jessie and Olga.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his granddaughters, Phyllis (Leo) and Karen (Mike); his great grandchildren, Kristy (Kendrick), Amy, Kelly (Darren) and Troy; and his siblings, Lloyd (Louise), Raymond (Marie), Eric (Dulcie), Margaret, Anna (Walter) and Sheila (Jim). He is also survived by friends including brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
