She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Nichols and Dorothy Nichols; her son Rudy; her grandson Jonathan; her son-in-law Gordie; and her brother William.
She is survived by: her husband Manson; her children, Gary (Cathy), Gay (Eric), Paula (Bill), Pamela, Kimberly and Jamie; her grandchildren, Melanie, Crystal, Gary, Robert, Michelle, Jennifer, Kyle, Caitlan, Melissa, Ashley and Matthew; and her brothers, Beaton (Beatrice), Fred and Barry. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honour of Laura to the Canadian Cancer Society, Newfoundland and Labrador.
