He is survived by: his children, Colleen White (Calvin), Kelly Payne (Willy), Lewis Payne (Ramona), Bradley Payne (Lorraine) and Stacey Payne; his grandchildren, Charla and Jaelyn; his nieces, Denise (Claude) and Nicole (Art); his nephew Jim (Joy); his close friends, Derrick McKay (Donna), Bill Emberley (Mathilda) and Helen Jones; his stepchildren, Ivan Nippard (Sandra), Darrel Nippard (Mihoko), Sandra Nippard (David), Herb Nippard (Tina) and Marshall Nippard; and his grandchildren, Kayla (Adam), Carrie (Kyle), Nathan, Cody (Kaylin), Dakota and Diago.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
