It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Eva Norma (Moss) Hancock of Deer Lake, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rebecca Moss and Norman Moss; her siblings, Sam Lush (Pearl), Norman Moss Jr. (Pearl), Glen Moss (Alma) and Alberta Caines (Holly); her son-in-law Brian Pelley; her siblings-in-law, Maxine Moss, Doug Cole and Gord Hutchcroft; the father of her children Willis Hancock; and her friends, Mercedes Bailey and Daisy Leonard.
She is survived by : her children, Marie Duffney Pelly, Stephen Hancock, Jim Hancock (Dianne), Gus Hancock (Lily), Delores (Babe), Compton (Clyde) and Eugene Hancock; her grandchildren, Terry (Kathy), Samantha Pardy (Dion), Deanna Power (Tyson), Julian, Markus, Tristen, Danielle, Ricky, Alex, Kelsey, Brendon, Jonathan, Nikita, Bree, Paige, William, Emma, Kaleb and Jackson; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Keely, Averi, Eva, Zachary, Logan, Riley, Darius, Samantha, Natalie, Madison, Aubree, Hailey, Keiran, Tegan and Brooklyn; her siblings, Jim Moss, Delores Cole, Jane Janes (Hazen) and Beryl Hutchcroft; her brother-in-law Johnny Caines; and her aunt Delores.
