He was predeceased by: his parents, Elliott Clarke and Ursula Clarke; his parents-in-law, Russell and Jessie Anderson; his siblings, Doreena Ball (Winslow Ball) and Harry Clarke (Judy); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Peters and Roy Pittman.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Jennifer and Jeanette; his grandchildren, Nathan, Abbigail and Aiden; his sister Carole (Geoff Feasey); his siblings-in-law, Joyce (Henry Young), Edith (Roy Pittman), Will Anderson (Judy), Louise (Eddy Samms) and Glynn Anderson (Melissa); and his close friends, Melvin, Maxine Short, Frank and Shirley Bonnell.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in his honour to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
