We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2021, Ruda (Jacobs) Fillier (Deer Lake, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Violet Jacobs and James Jacobs; and her brothers, Ross, Harold, Claude, Wilfred (Irene) and Llewellyn.

She is survived by : her husband Wilfred; her daughter Janet Fillier; her grandson Tyler Fillier; her great grandchildren, Kayla and Gracie; her nephew Perry Jacobs; her siblings, Hilda Canning (Obediah), Edna Jacobs, Donald (Clarice), Winston (Marion), Helen Pittman (Lorenzo), McKinley (Lorraine), Ellis (Starlene), Murray (Anne) and Calvin (Carol); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce and Mona Jacobs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 6th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 6th 2021 at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. In keeping with the most recent Covid - 19 Government Regulations, a private.
