He was predeceased by: his wife Edith; his parents, James Field and Lillian Field (Cull); and his siblings, Arthur, Alexander, Rhoda, Elsie, Minnie, Virtue, George, Cassandra, Ameila, Walter, Freeman, Dora, Frances and Ann.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharron Walsh (Bern) of Pasadena, Una Torraville (Floyd) of Sylvan Lake and Janice Field (Jim Hickey) of Logy Bay; his grandchildren, Ryan Walsh (Ellen), Kia Compagnon (Kyle), Kory Torraville and Jasmine Hickey; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Labelle and Kate Compagnon.
