He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Hickey and Agnes Hickey; his siblings, Rita (Ray) and Ted (Beth); and his father-in-law Allan Bartlett.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his son Timothy (Krystal); his grandchildren, Maisey, Oliver and Orion; his siblings, Ethel (Willie), Len (Elaine), Vera (Bern), Pat (Bev), Steve (Carm), Linda (Frank), Marella (Charlie), Thelma (Harold), Bridget (Chris), Fran (Mike), Barry (Debbie) and Glenn (Tina); his mother-in-law Ina Bartlett; and his siblings-in-law, Bill (Carol Ann), Ray (Bernadette), Glenn (Denise), Linda (Gord), Maxine (Boyce) and Karen (Lal).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Maher's Funeral Home (11 Veteran's Way, Placentia, NL A0B2Y0). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's Church (1194 NL-100, Dunville, NL A0B1S0). A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery.
