He was predeceased by : his wife Elizabeth; his parents, Agnes Hickey and Stephen Hickey; his sister Rita (Ray); his parents-in-law, Madeline and Thomas Whelan; and his sister-in-law Christine (Gary).

He is survived by : his daughters, Ashley and Kaitlin; his grandson Douglas; his siblings, Ethel (Willie Wettstein), Leonard (Elaine), Vera (Bern Hynes), Patrick (Bev), Linda (Frank Kelly), Steve (Carm), Marella, Thelma (Harold Kelly), Bridget (Chris Newman), Frances (Mike Taylor), Brian (Sandra), Barry (Debbie) and Glenn (Tina); and his parents-in-law, Brian (Iona), Elaine (Tony), Peg (Ray), Brenda, Derrick (Rita Ann), David (Audrey) and Sherry (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Flowers gratefully accepted, as well as donations in his memory to the Kidney Care Centre Dialysis Unit.
