It is with sadness that the passing of John F. Smith of Dunville, Newfoundland is shared. John, born on June 8, 1936, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; and his siblings, Colombus, Bill, Mark and Annie.
He is survived by: his son Rick (Janet); his grandson Stephen; his great grandchild Lincoln; his siblings, George (Vivian), Dolly, Gertrude and Adeila; his sisters-in-law, Doris, Wynann and Fran; his goddaughter Marlene; and his close friends, Adrian, Dave, Bobby and Fred. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Anne's Church (1194 NL-100, Dunville, NL A0B1S0). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at the St. Anne's Cemetery (1194 NL-100, Dunville, NL A0B1S0).
