With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bert Hoddinott of Embree, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hoddinott and Abigail Hoddinott; his daughter Charlene; and his siblings, Clarence, Marie and Madeline.
He is survived by: his wife Winnie; his daughter Cindy Nippard (Paul); his grandchildren, Matthew Cull (Ramsey), Lucas Wicks (Nikki), Jonanthan Wicks, Jessica Brown (Brandon), Abby Connors (Tyler) and Hannah Nippard (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Brody, Indigo, Sophia, Haiden, Easton and Oceanna; his siblings, Cyril Hoddinott and Melinda Janes (Carl); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Hoddinott, Ben Hoddinott (Paulette), Marion Manuel (Lorne) and Geraldine Hoddinott.
As expression of sympathy, donations to The Salvation Army Building Fund will be gratefully accepted.
