It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorna Yvonne Pelley (Embree, Newfoundland), who passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Roy Pelley; her parents, Nathaniel Nippard and Doris Nippard; and her brothers, Ivan Nippard and Elmo Nippard.

She is survived by : her children, Judy Hynes (Denney), David Pelley, Daryl Pelley (Eunice), Rick Pelley (Tracey Powell), Debbie Hudson (Mark), Shawn Pelley and Roy Pelley; and her siblings, Wayne Nippard, Annie Mews and Llewelyn Nippard. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews will be gratefully accepted.
