She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas; her son Timothy; her parents, Leo Hackett and Anne Hackett; her parents-in-law, John Samuel and Mary Alice Hackett; her siblings, Leo, Elizabeth, Gladys, Sheila Webb, Nora Blagdon of Terrenceville, NL, Irene Jachowske of Chicago, IL and Carrie Hall (Harry) of Toronto, ON; her grandson Timothy Hackett; and her children-in-law, Juanita Hackett, Karen Hackett and Ralph Coombs.

She is survived by : her granddaughter Maggie; her brothers, John L. Hackett (Edith) of Terrenceville, NL and Jerome Hackett (Barbara); her siblings-in-law, Catherine Lavhey of Terrenceville, NL and George Hackett (Theresa); and her niece Sylvia Harvey (John) of Sackville, NS.
