She was predeceased by : her husband Patrick Hynes; her daughter Shirley Bolt (Norman); her parents, Fredrick Byrd and Elizabeth Clarke; her stepfather Charles Clarke; and her siblings, Marion Hynes (Jim), Lorraine Clarke (Felix), Marie Clarke (George) and Freeman Byrd.

She is survived by : her children, Kevin Hynes (Pansy) of Grand, Wayne Hynes (Frances) of Grand and Patsy Labour (Mike); her sister-in-law Mary Alice Byrd of Marystown; her grandson Troy Bolt; and her friend Daphne Hynes. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.
