He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his siblings, John, Bob, Bill, Tom, Ron, Annie, Gertrude, Cecilia and Marie; his parents-in-law, Clara and Albert Kavanagh; his siblings-in-law, Alfreda Power and Austin Kavanagh; and his son-in-law Brian Hawco.

He is survived by: his daughters, Darlene, Bonnie (Dave), Paula (Keith) and Debbie (Donny); his grandchildren, Amy, Allison, Julie (Michael), Erin (William), Danielle (Brendan), Dustin (Crystal), Devon and Delia (Cian); his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Riley, Nyah, Natalie, Henry, Charlie, Oliver, Leo and Lainey; his siblings, Edmund and Dot (Jim); Joan Condon (Brendan) and Dolores Hynes (Gary).
