He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burton and Theresa Burton; and his brother Peter Burton. He is survived by: his wife Winnifred; his children, Evan and Mary Tucker (Geoff); his grandchildren, Deandra (Mike), Jakeb and Keanan; his great grandchildren, Declan, Mark and Aurora; his sister Helen Kenny; and his sisters-in-law, Angela Burton and Joan O'Neill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
