She was predeceased by : her husband Patrick Parsons; her great great grandchild Ryan Nicholas Stoyles Hicks; her parents, Lawrence Chafe and Margaret Chafe; and her parents-in-law, Richard and Catherine Parsons.
She is survived by : her children, Theresa Heffernan (late Aiden), Bernadette Connors (Garry), Patrick Parsons (Christine), Catherine Manning (Darryl), Richard Parsons (Joanne), Margaret Stoyles (Gerald), Michelle McGrath (Kenny) and Madonna O'Rielly; her sisters, Marion Cox and Rose Stephenson (William); and her siblings-in-law, Brennie Clarke, Bernadine Chafe and Minnie Chafe. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
No flowers by request, donation in Gertrude's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
