He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Silvey; his son Shayne Silvey (Reynalyn Garcia); his siblings, Mary Ann Daigneault (Jacques), Mary Frances "Dolly" Silvey, Madeline Hull, Margret Tobin (Ronald), Edward Silvey and Sharon Mills (Tyrone); and his siblings-in-law, Christina Walsh, Pauline Barrett, Claudine Leger, Robert "Big Bob" Walsh, Mathais Walsh, Randy Walsh (Juantia), Paul Walsh (Cynthia), Susan Barrett (Anthony), Josephine Patafio and Rod Walsh (Sheila).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church. A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 6:30 PM. A wake was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
