He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Elizabeth Hedderson; his siblings, George Hedderson and Lucy Lewis (Peter); his parents-in-law, Mary and Fred Warren; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick Warren, Albert Warren and Sarah Warren.

He is survived by: his wife Clara Hedderson; his children, Maryann Hedderson (Paddy), Peggy Lewis and Larry Hedderson (Lori); his grandchildren, Tiffany Hedderson (Rob), Megan Foss (JimmyLee), Justin Lewis, Lawrence Knight and Nicholas Knight; his great grandchildren, Giovanni Assenza, Makayla Assenza, Luca Assenza, Reid Foss and Tucker Foss-Ward; and his sisters, Mary Agnes Head (Lar Drover) and Elizabeth Ann Ford.
