He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Snook and Emily Snook; his brothers, William Snook and Rev. Benjamin Snook; his siblings-in-law, Howard Brockerville, Rex Bungay, Cecil Thornhill and Ruby Hicks; and his nephews, Nelson Snook and Justin Bungay.

He is survived by : his wife June; his children, Todd Snook (Heather) of Hammonds Plains, NS and Erica Maynard (Gerry) of South Farmington, NS; his siblings, Charlotte Hollett (Ed), Phoebe Brockerville, Meta Bungay, Harold John Snook (Lucy) and Morgan Snook; his sisters-in-law, Alice Snook, Mervie Snook, Major Carrie Brinson, Charlotte Piercey, Daisy Spencer (Roland), Janet Buckle and Grace Thornhill (Lloyd); and his grandson Chase Snook.
