She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Rideout and Annie Rideout; her parents-in-law, Maxwell and Roberta Forsey; her brothers-in-law, Carl Forsey (Rita), Max Forsey, Gilbert Moore, Melvin Thornhill and Jerry Weymouth; and her niece Michelle Thornhill.
She is survived by: her husband Simeon; her children, Scott Forsey (Pam) and Pam Thorne (Bruce); her grandchildren, Michelle Thorne, Erica Thorne (Jonathan), Carter Forsey, Arianna Forsey, Charlie, Izzy and Zoey; her siblings, Josephine Moore (Gordon), Vera Leights (Onslow), Joan Newport (Frank) and Jerome Rideout (Isabelle); her siblings-in-law, Jordan Forsey (Sheila), Bill Forsey (Georgie), Keith Forsey (Roxanne), Wayne Forsey (Marjorie), Terry Forsey (Elayne), Hannah Thornhill, Roberta Forsey (David), Marlene Loveless (Clifford), Roxanne Weymouth and Anna Mary Forsey; and her caregiver Tammy Stone.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Fortune (168-170 Bayview St #168, Fortune, NL A0E1P0). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the All Saints Anglican Church. The inurnment was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
