She was predeceased by : her parents, William Thornhill and Mary Thornhill; her siblings, Marion Thornhill and Glen Thornhill; and her parents-in-law, Alexander and Carmel Boland.

She is survived by : her husband Alex; her children, Terry (Trina) of Fortune, Alexander Jr. (Evelyn) of Fortune, Marion Hillier (Hubert) of Torbay, Cammie Lee (Dennis) of Fortune and Judy Dominix (Charles Jr.) of Fortune; her siblings, Judy Collins (Donald), Don Thornhill (Angela), Henry Thornhill (Cindy) and Alex Thornhill (Gabriella); and her grandchildren, Brittany, Carly, Alyssa, Charley, Brandon, Brady, Tyler, Alexander and Michael.

In Edna's memory donations may be made to the family or flowers gratefully accepted.
