He was predeceased by : his children, Maxine and Claude; his grandsons, Tristan and Alex; his parents, Harry Crews and Daisy Crews; his siblings, Alma, Emily, Walter and Nathan; and his parents-in-law, Claude and Susie Dunne.

He is survived by : his wife Jane; his children-in-law, Charles Ashford of Ontario and Marylou Crews of Mount Pearl; his grandchildren, Krysta (Robert) of Ontario and Morgan (McKaylia) of Mount Pearl; his siblings, Harry (Vera), Aubrey (Emily), Gerald (Daisy), Max (Gloria), Ida, Marina and Joan (John); and his siblings-in-law, Jim Dunne (Audrey), Claude Dunne (Linda), David (Darlene), Minnie Monster (Charles), Kay Mavin (Philip) and Helen Rolls (Gerald).

In keeping with the current Covid-19 regulations this will be a walk through visitation with a maximum of 30 people permitted inside the building at one time.

In Carl's memory donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church or a charity of one's choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
