He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Monster and Harry Monster; his son-in-law James Boyd; his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Manuel Bolt; his brother Albert Monster; his brothers-in-law, Wilson Anderson and Gary Gregory; his parents-in-law, Claude and Susie Dunne; and his siblings-in-law, Jane (Carl Crews) and Jim Dunne.

He is survived by: his siblings, Ellen Anderson of Sydney, Edith Gregory of Toronto, Ontario, Joan Marshall (Jerry) of Ontario, Ralph Monster (Yvonne) of Fortune, NL and Clyde Monster (Karen) of Fortune, NL; and his siblings-in-law, Freda Monster, Audrey Dunne, Kay Mavin (Phil), Helen Rolls (Gerald), Claude Dunne (Linda) and David Dunne (Darlene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
