She was predeceased by: her husbands, David Bennett and Mack Piercey; her parents, Charles Thornhill and Elsie Thornhill; her siblings, Cecil Thornhill (Mae), Ruby Hicks (Wilfred) and Major Caroline Brinson (Lloyd); and her siblings-in-law, Jacob Piercey (June), Frank Piercey (Audrey), Harvey Piercey (Phyllis), Charles Piercey, Bernard Buckle, Albert Snook, Elizabeth Mayo (Lloyd) and Eleanor Dove (Lloyd).

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Patten (Robert) of Fortune; her stepdaughter Valerie Wilson (Hugh); her grandson Stephen Patten (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Ayvan Patten (Quinn) and Cash Patten (Makayla); her stepgrandsons, Tamblyn Peterson and Mitchell Peterson; her sisters, Daisy Spencer (Roland), June Snook, Janet Buckle and Grace Thornhill (Lloyd); her sister-in-law Mervie Piercey; and her nieces, Kathleen Noury, June Hillier (Max) and Frances Banfield.
